WTF … Windows Mobile on joystiq !! Ivy the Kiwi for Windows Mobile

Its not every day that you see Windows Mobile being mentioned on a premier gaming blog like Joystiq. According to then some new games are going to hit the WM Marketplace soon. As a launch title for Japan’s Windows Mobile Marketplace ( in December ) Yuji Naka’s studio ‘ Prope ‘ is releasing a game called Ivy the Kiwi?. The game has some interesting mechanics: the game uses drawn lines to propel a character, something like Flight Commander, but lets players anchor one side of the line and move the other endpoint around while Ivy’s on it, for finer control of the character’s movement.

Does it sound that interesting ? It did not .. at least to me it didn’t.. then I saw the video of the game play, and the game won me over, it brings a whole new gameplay on to windows mobile, dont trust me ? check the video for yourself…

the 1st few seconds of the video doesn’t have much impact , but when the actual game begins you will see what I am talking about. The game looks great and we cant wait to get our hands on it..
