wp7applist presents 2012 Community App Awards [ voting is now open ]

Our friends at wp7applist is setting up a 2012 Community App Awards event for Windows Phone Apps and Games over on their website their aim is to to put the spolight on the very best apps available in the Windows Phone Marketplace and they need your help to do this, head over to their website and nominate what you think are the best apps available on windows phone. The event is split up in to 2 phases first nominations, then voting. Apps can be nominated in two ways: from a member of the committee or from users nominations. Apps that have the most nominations from users on May 26th are qualified from voting, and EACH app nominated by the committee is automatically qualified!.

Best Use of Live Tile
Best User Experience
Best Productivity App
Best Educational App
Best News App
Best Photo App
Best Travel App
Best Sports App

GAMES
Game of The Year
Best Xbox Live Game
Best Indie Game
Best Free Game
Best Educational Game
Best Game Controls
Best Game Graphics
Best Game Soundtrack
Most Addictive Game
Best Time Killer

There will be 10 apps nominated in each categories and all apps currently available in the USA region of the Windows Phone Marketplace are eligible for nomination, with the exception of vendor / manufacturer specific apps. Once all the nominees will be chosen for each category the second phase will begin. Users will – again – be invited to vote for their favorite apps, 1 in each category. In addition, the apps that received the most nominations will compete for two additional award categories: App of The Year & Game of The Year.
