Point the camera at some foreign text and see the translation using Microsoft Translator
Microsoft Translator app is a bit disappointing coz it only supports 5 languages English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. The UI is quite simple you type the phrase you need to convert in to one box and the other one translates it to one of the selected language. Unfortunately there is no auto detect. You do have the option to click the speaker button to get the app to read out the translated text. Microsoft has also included a bunch of commonly used phrases and when you type something in it, the text is automatically added to the phrases page. Dont think there are many other options right now and this is a free app so its worth a try.
