We have seen a number of RSS readers for Windows Phone 7 in our WP7 Apps section. ( Weave RSS Reader and My RSS Reader to name a few ). Now in a recent contest Microsoft’s 2010 Interns – José Arriaga Maldonado, Roger Pincombe, Aaron Schultz and Chris Cortes worked on a new RSS reader for WP7 called Headliner , which was selected as the winner for the contest.
From the video of the app in action it looks like any other WP7 app, with the normal features you would expect like adding a feed, searching for a feed, Google Reader sync, arrange feed via categories, share via Twitter etc. One other feature they mentioned was that users can read individual articles in two different visual modes (the original article, right in a web browser or a clean image-and-text-only version).
