Windows Phone developer pulls in over 100,000 in revenue from ads
Taptitude launched in March 2011 with a few simple minigames and they have been constantly updating the game with more content and now the game offers over 60 minigames!! Developers behind the very successful game Taptitude has shared their monetization story with the world. Taptitude is like this all in one game that gives users a loooooot of mini games and tie it all together with leaderboard and unloackable games which keep users coming back for more. In a recent blog post FourBrosStudio have shared some light on the impression their game receive each day , the eCPM they get and how much they pull in from advertisements each day. Lets have a look at what they shared
While this might not be big numbers when you compare with the top apps from the iPhone and Android camp , this is certainly a start for Windows Phone developers and with the huge success of Nokia things are looking up for app / game developers. FourBrosStudio have noticed that majority of their users are on Nokia devices ( for last month ) , its nice to see Nokia doing well within the short time they have had with Windows Phone. As expected US consumers seems to create the most impression almost 50 % of the impression comes from the US region.
It looks like they have managed to pull in a stationary $1 eCPM for the past couple of months and with the Nokia 900 hitting US their customer base has seen some sharp increase too which results in more impression resulting in more revenue from ads. So far they have pulled in $100K from over 93 million impression and an average of $1755.19 per week.
