Windows Mobile 7
According to PCWorld.com Microsoft Chief Steve Ballmer said Windows Mobile 7 is going to be released in 2010. Now we all know that WM6.5 that was announced @ MWC 2009 and will only be shipped towards the end of the year.
With Windows Mobile 7 coming out so soon, some people may just forget about Mobile 6.5 altogether and wait for WM 7. Not a good news for hardware manufacturers pushing Windows Mobile. Especially since Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 device owners won’t be able to run Mobile 6.5. So if Mobile 7 is also going to require a new device, then why not wait a few more months for the latest version.
Ballmer didn’t provide any details about what Windows Mobile 7 would look like but I am sure some one will find some leaked info before the official announcement. :) ( like this old one from Engadget )
