If anyone is going to get the HD2, you might want to get it via T-Mobile.com because you can get 35% cashback! To do this you have to do two simple steps.
First, go to bing.com/cashback and set up a free Bing Cashback account.
Second, go to the bing.com homepage and search for “T-mobile” without the quotes. At the top of the page there should be a “Sponsored Sites” for T-Mobile official site. It should have the Bing Dollar sign logo. Click that link. You will have an overlay come up, enter in the email address you used to sign up for Bing Cashback, and click submit.
Once you do this, get the phone you want from T-mobile.com. You have to purchase the phone during this session.. you can’t save the phone to the cart and come back to it. If you have to come back, you will have to do the same bing.com search, and click the ad to go back to T-mobile.com.
There is no guarantee this would work , if you decide to give it a go, let us know how it goes. BTW the cash back will take around 60 days. Say thanks to steveymacjr from the TMobile Forum and fuzemobility.com for the find

If anyone is able to get this to work I would be curious to find out. I tried getting the phone online and was unable to unless I was willing to add a line to my existing account. I called T-Mobile to find out why this was and they said they had no inventory for upgrades on this phone, they only had inventory for adding new lines. Not sure what that meant but didn’t even bother to ask for an explanation since it was a futile attempt to get this discount.
So it looks like if you want to pay more money to the carier then that fine to do via adding an additional line. But if you want to upgrade or buy the phone out right, well there are no phones for us existing customers that just want phone or just upgrade an existing line.
