jphreynaud from xda-developers has released a new Pocket PC Freeware app called WebTV. When you double click on a TV/Show Icon its stream is launched in the selected player (CorePlayer, Windows MediaPlayer or TCPMP). Channels are freely definable within an xml file. This app requires an active internet connection, either Wi-Fi or cellular data would do.
Last version : Version 3.01 – 15/03/2009
- Removed iExplorer from the Player list (was there only for test purposes and now useless)
- Sometimes, when pressing Exit menu in Config. Dialog, “Save Modif” question was not displayed.
- Compatibility for 320×320 pixels screen. (To confirm from users …)
- Favorites channels file “WebTVList.xml” is not part of install kit anymore. The favorites will be preserved after software reinstallation or update
- Added Few channels and many Channels Icons …(thanks to xda community)

watch satellite tv on your pc at http://www.computeruser.com/blogs/entry/satelli…
The interface is nice, what can I say, but the channle’s list is very poor and the quality doesn’t glow… I better go with
Mobile OnlineTVx, which has about 1000 chanels and list of awsome features which make it the best for me.

Thanks for review Saijo,
Even though I really respect Members from – XDA developers, but this one has a bit poor quality and functionality. Besides it is not user-friendly.. :( Sorry, thumbs down this time. I’d rather stick with Online TVx Mobile.
The threads with Online TVx is very popular with XDA and they also wrote articles about both versions of Online TVx:
Version 1
Version 2
