VLC Media Player for Window Phone [ Concept ]

VLC Media Player is by far one of the best video players I have ever used. It gives novice users a great experience from the basic installation and experienced users can customized and configured to suit it to their needs. The player also receives frequent updates to add more features and fix issues. VLC and its source code are maintained by the all-volunteer VideoLAN Organization and the software is open-source. Today we take a look at a design Concept by a new designer MetroUX who I am hoping will be frequent around these parts from now on. This design has taken the Metro Modern UI concept in to consideration.

The main screen gives you access to Video, Audio, Shared Network folders and Recently accessed items.

When you pick an audio track , the player offers the simple but functional features that VLC always offers its users. The ability to fav / repeat a track, Music controls , you can also drill down and open up the equalizer and social options.

Video Controls are are fashioned in a similar way , notice the scrubber from Windows 8 ?

Here is a quick look at the sorting options and won’t it be handy to see what videos are in HD format ?

Let us not forget the Windows 8 version.
