VipPIMRingtone

VipPimRingTone is a free Windows Mobile Professional application which allows users to assign custom ringtones to different Contacts and Categories. Allowing the selection of a custom ringtone folder – VipPimRingTone supports mp3, wma and wav file formats – this application will enable users to specify custom ringtones to be used for certain Contacts or Contact Categories. The concept is pretty simple and very useful letting users know the person who is calling without the need of taking a look at the device. This version of VipPimRingTone supports the option of ringtone loading through XML files for more advanced users, but for the everyday user all settings can be set via the icon in the Programs folder.

This looks to be very interesting however I have a Q..

What about SMS’s and MMS. Can the be assigned a tone too as I am in a local fire brigade and get my callouts via an SMS.

I am also a SYS Admin and get system status SMS’s also and I really need to know which is which so I can assign a very loud “WAKE UP” for a call ou, and a less intrusive sound for a “cannot ping system”

Many thanks

Marc

Its best to ask the developer to see if that option can be included in a future update.
