Verizon shying away from WP8?
Even before the launch of the fabled WP8 phone OS, here is some news that (if true) might pose a problem for the folks at Redmond
If the folks at neowin are to be believed, Verizon might actually be re-thinking their WP8 strategy and might actually be cancelling some planned devices.
This is to do with remote device management capability that Verizon requires on all its phones. WP8 phone apparently do not meet these requirements and Verizon may be reluctant to roll out the phones in their current state. What remains to be seen is whether Microsoft will reach out to Verizon and make the required waivers to get this relationship working – considering Verizon is only the LARGEST MOBILE CARRIER IN THE US!
At this stage even a delay in the launch of Verizon WP8 phones might cost the software behemoth a lot.
