I finally got round to trying to make an app in Silverlight for WindowsPhone7.
It has ended up as this very simple game called TouchMeQuick.
Read on for pics & a video of it being played!
The aim of the game is to touch the square with a border around it & to avoid those without. It really is that simple. It counts down from 20 for each square you touch & gives you a time in seconds when it gets down to 0.
It only took about 3 or 4 hours to write & that includes the learning curve figuring out how to do it. So far in my attempts with WP7, Ive found it quite hard adapting to the new platform because of not being a very good coder.
Most of the techniques I used in my WindowsMobile apps mean diddly-squat when trying to make something in Silverlight. Despite this, I still made this game relatively easily.
Anyway, here are some pics of the game in use:
The video of TouchMeQuick can be found on my YouTube channel here!
Overall, the experience of making this very simple game was a fun & easy one.
