Today we are taking a look at an windows phone app that brings the image and video content from thechive.com on to your windows phone , its called theChive . Ever wanted to download all the images from a webpage to your windows phone , its all too easy thanks to Image Downloader. Trackables an application that allows you to keep track of just about anything and finally a Flash Cards app called Kleio Flashcards that you can sync with a website.
theChive : ( Free ) ( Web ) is a photo / video entertainment website that covers everything from hot women to crazy food and everything in between , you can access the content on the website via app and get toast notification about new post and a double sided live title that shows you the latest story. BTW I don’t think this is the official app, but it seems to work quite well.
Image Downloader : ( Free ) ( Web ) is an image download managed for Windows Phone it will allow you to download all images from any web page or a gallery and save to your phone Pictures Hub in a couple of clicks. There are quite a bit of config options which include support for both embedded and linked images, concurrent background downloads, etc. A perfect tool if you want to download images off a website or a gallery on flickr. there are two version available. I am not exactly sure what the limitations are ( $0.99 ) ( Web )
Trackables : ( Free ) ( Web ) Felt the need to track something ? say hello to Trackables a highly configurable app that allows users to track anything and generates details reports with pretty graphs on the progress.
Kleio Flashcards : ( Download ) ( Web ) has been updated to include mango features , the app can sync the flash cards data with kleio.info and work with that data with out the need to connect to an internet connection. There are a few Flash Cards available on the website , the data is crowd sourced so I am not sure how accurate the info will be. The app uses a Google account to sync the data and its NOT possible to use it without one. The paid version has no ads, and has Google Translate integration. ( $2.99 ) ( Web )

Hi! Creator of Kleio here – thanks for the mention and just want to add to the video:
There’s also a totally free Windows version of the app which syncs with the WP7 version.
Also, it uses a spaced repetition system which is an adaptive studying technique, similar to SuperMemo, Anki, and Mnemosyne. The video doesn’t show the studying UI in the app.
Thanks for pointing out the free version of Kleio to try out!
