Shake2Send is an windows mobile freeware application developed by Jaxbot from xda-developers that allows two devices to pair and send contacts over the air. To pair, the two devices shake at the same time (Similar to Bump for the iPhone). No bluetooth needed! You can send contacts, as well as files. Pictures will be displayed automatically, and CABs will auto install.

Instructions
1) Download the CAB and Install.
2) Enter a name (Be unique for each device!)
3) Press Connect, and then shake both devices at the same time (Or within ~1 second).
4) When paired, Press Send and select a contact or file.

Known Issues
1. File sending is slow, try not to send big files (yet.)
2. Possible connection problem… still not sure on the details.

BattClock 1.6 – add both time and battery status to taskbar

BattClock has been updated to version 1.6 . For those who dont know BattClock is a windows mobile freeware that allows users to add Battery status and time to your taskbar on Windows Phone.

Features

Very small in memory: 1 Kb in memory (check it with a task manager)
No CPU usage: 0.00 % CPU usage, check it with a task manager)
Very small on disk: BattClock.exe 17 Kb on disk,
Very efficient resource usage (clock update and measuring of battery percentage)
No updates with screen off (only listen for screen on event), so no battery usage/drain by BattClock
Show Time and Battery percentage above the top bar (default)
Automatic detect settings the first time started, dependent of the screen resolution and colour.
Time in format HH:MM or H:MM or with other separator, 12 hour or 24 hour clock
Battery indicator in percentage, indication if charging (default battery percentage character % is changed into tilde character ~)
Date in format DD-MM or MM-DD or with other separator and with or without leading zeros
Free memory percentage indicator or MB, updated once per second, great to see if you have memory leaks!
BattClock info can be a combination of above (Date, Time, Battery Percentage and Free memory) with a maximum of 3 lines out of 4 possibilities.
Location and size: Clock width, height, X position, Y position and FontSize configurable. Separate settings for Portrait or Landscape. X position from the left configurable by negative value
Color: Background and Text (Foreground) color configurable. Battery Percentage and Free memory can change color when a medium or low threshold has reached (3 colors configurable)
Looks: Separators for time and date configurable, battery percentage character configurable (on power, on battery), free memory character configurable.
Automatic runtime adaption of BattClock on Portrait or Landscape mode (with negative ClockX setting)
Configurable realtime (settings changes reflecting immediatly in BattClock) via separate BattConfig program (required: .NET 2.0 or higher, does not work on Smartphone though)
Configurable via registry settings
Supported resolutions: 240×320, 240×240, 480×480. 480×640, 480×800, etc.

Saw this app over at fuzemobility.com. Goomeo is a new windows mobile app that lets you share your files with other people using wifi you can share contacts, MP3’s, pics and so on. The app also has a chat feature that lets you text message or voice message over wifi. Through Goomeo you can also update your facebook status or tweet and you can also share your GPS location.

ArkSwitch is a new windows mobile 6.5 task manager. To use it, simply click the left half of the top bar. The right half still has the normal WM6.5.x icon enlargement functionality. ArkSwitch can be opened from any screen that has the top bar visible. You can click the text or the icon of the app to bring it to the foreground, or click the red “X” to close it.

This version add WM6.5 compatibility in case you don’t want ArkSwitch to take over your top bar, you can disable that functionality and thereby have it function as a standard app. In this mode, the original WM6.5 should also be fully functional. To enable this mode go to the Options screen.

IMDb Windows Mobile

Unlike other IMDb apps which parse IMDb pages for information, this app uses the iPhone IMDb API to retrieve information from IMDb.com and display it on your Windows Mobile. The app is still in its early stages and this is the very fiest version and looks very promising. you can search IMDb for any info and you cab click on the search result to drill down in to more detail and you can also open mobile IMDb for those entries ( via your browser ). The app is open source and has been developed by Blade0rz from xda-developers. Moving ratings are not retrieved in this version but the dev plans to include it in a future release.
