I haven’t tested this app and the description on the developers site was in Russian and I am guessing this app will show you a snapshot of your current location as seen on google map on your Titanium Home screen on WM6.5 devices. I am also assuming this wont run on anything below wm6.5. I believe you will have an option screen where you can choose the zoomlevel and map type.
AppStar WM6.5 Favorite People is a WM6.5 Plugin that adds your favorite Contacts to your Titanium Screen. This plug-in allows you to add your favorite contacts to the WM 6.5 CHome (aka Titanium) homescreen. Supports all major resolution like VGA, WVGA, QVGA, WQVGA, and QVGA Square.
Instructions :
Tap the “Select Favorite People” panel to add a contact and a phone number of your choice.
Tap the contact panel to view the contact card.
Tap the “Call” softkey to initiate a phone call to the stored number.
ArkSwitch is a new windows mobile 6.5 task manager. To use it, simply click the left half of the top bar. The right half still has the normal WM6.5.x icon enlargement functionality. ArkSwitch can be opened from any screen that has the top bar visible. You can click the text or the icon of the app to bring it to the foreground, or click the red “X” to close it. This is the alpha version, so if you find any buys let the developer know about it.
Sony Ericsson plans to launch a new eco-friendly GreenHeart range WM6.5 device code named the Faith. Looks like someone wants to get in the good books of Microsoft after the buzz about Windows Mobile 7. There is no release date on this front facing qwerty keyboard mode from SE. ( not that their release date matters, they are almost always delayed ).
