If you are a fan of Windows Mobile , they you guys might be a excited about the new WM6.5. One of the feature of WM6.5 is the widget support. The guys @ FuzeMobility has been hard at work creating a set of widgets for all major Windows Mobile site under the sun ( well almost of of them anyways ). They have got 50 of them up on their site and we have made it on the list :)
These apps provide a ‘chromeless’ experience ie, No mobile IE menu, address bar etc. If you want a widget for a site that is not available at the moment why dont you request David to release one ? Anyways head over to FuzeMobility and grab these widgets ( Will only work on WM6.5 ). If you wanna create your own , just check these easy to follow steps.
Hrhnick has created a simple shell of the mobile MySpace site. It makes use of the widget capabilities of Windows Mobile 6.5, so it is important to note that it is only for WM6.5. It should, however, render in all resolutions.
Note: Extract the “.wgt” and click to install it. If you receive a message saying, “There is no application associated with MySpace,” please visit the support forum for a workaround. Again, this is only for WM6.5.
iBrowz makes finding and viewing content from the Web easy. All you have to do is subscribe to the widgets you are interested in, then tell our application when you would like them to be delivered. When you have a few moments to catch up with current news, stock quotes or weather, it will be only 2 clicks away and already loaded on your phone. Based on an open widget architecture, developers and content authors can easily re-purpose existing content and build new applications that are deployed through iBrowz.
PocketNow.com is reporting that the new Omnia ROM update [ L1 & L2 ] will contain the Widget Manager that may of you all wanted and a lot of new widgets too ( the likes of Yahoo, CNN, AccuWeather, Stocks ). Though many developers are not active on the Omnia, the device has been hugely popular among the people and gradually developers were getting their applications updated to render properly on the unusual screen resolution offered on the device.
Psst : You can get your hands on the UnOfficial ROM from MoDaCo

Samsung’s Armani redo, the F480, as you might have noticed it’s running a new OS. The UI — called TouchWiz — is based off of the company’s Croix interface (which apparently was rushed out to compete with the iPhone), and will be used on all of the upcoming finger-touch phones from the manufacturer. The cats over at Phone Scoop had a chance to go one-on-one with TouchWiz at Mobile World Congress, and they’ve put together a pretty informative video that shows off the UI doing its thing. The inclusion of a new widget system, expanded menu options, and overall speed bump make this OS a notable step up from Samsung’s previous offering.
