On some devices it is quite difficult to keep the hand firm while taking a picture. We all know that steady hands are very important when taking mobile shots as device cameras hardware are not actually much ‘real’ cameras. Sum to it the fact that (for example) the HD2 requires you to tap a button on the touch screen to take the picture, which is very uncomfortable (even worse if you attempt to take a picture of yourself & company!). Volumex – among other handy features – automatically binds the volume hardware keys to the Camera application when it is active, so you can use the volume hardware keys to take pictures easily.
