You know most of the time when an ad is about an app you see an iPhone being used but imagin my surprise to see a Lumia 800 being used for Lynx April Fool’s Day Spray App. Its a fantastic ad April fools ad from Lynx body spray, where the guy uses a Lynx Spray App on his Lumia 800 to pick a fragrance that will impress the girl he just met. Ofcourse this does not exist ( believe me I tried searching for it on the marketplace ) but fancy pulling up something like this this could be one of those iFart , iWhip apps for Windows Phone but only classier ;)
The first Nokia Windows Phone advertisement was not something that really sold the features built in to Windows Phone but give a glimpse of the live lites on the device but Nokia India has been putting up some great little ads that showcase some of the cool new features on Windows Phone. This ad shows off the advantages of pinning a live tile contact on the the home screen in a fun cool way ( or it could be seen as a way to keep tabs on someone , but I am going to go with the former scenario )
Here are some Nokia lumia 900 ads for those involved in extreme sports like free running. To celebrate the launch of the new Nokia Lumia 900 at Mobile World Congress 2012, Nokia challenged free runner, Pip Andersen to try out the Lumia 900 in and around the city of Barcelona. They also invited BMXer, James Ivett to try out the Lumia 900 followed by skateboarder, Jed Cullen. The best part is the ads also shows some handy features and Apps on Windows Phone unlike the Microsoft Me Series which was more about the people using them than the Phones themselves.
Nokia has posted its new series ” The Little Amazing Show ” this time from India, Nokia recently launched its Lumia series Windows Phone in India with some marketing push involving some flash mob performance in selected cities. I believe this is the 6th episode in Nokia’s The Little Amazing Show which has previously featured selected cities like Berlin , London and more. I can wait to see ” Nokia The Little Amazing Show : Melbourne ” ( but I have a sneaky suspicion it might endup up being Sydney )
This new ad from Microsoft ( via WMPU ) shows off the various features of Windows Phone and how things are synced to the cloud. This ad definitely highlights some cool features on Windows Phone and I am gald to see Microsoft making ads like this which shows off the features of the phone. But there are some small things that could be improved .. I don’t own Onenote on the PC so I can’t be sure how difficult the syncing process is, this video makes it look like a chore ( FYI on the phone all one note entries are synced to skydrive automagically which is super easy ). If Microsoft is looking to push its products via the ads perhaps its a good idea to get rid of the Chrome icon o_O .. How would you guys change this ad ?
Nokia is taking their promotion very seriously and now we see their promo event for the Lumia series in London. Soem guys who were at the event has put up some video of the event on facebook and if you did not catch the live event check out the video below
Jace one of our games reviewer from BestWP7Games.com has put up a short Fan made ad for Windows Phone. It highlights the fact that we have a lot of the stuff people use integrated right in to the OS like Facebook, Twitter, Bing Vision, etc.
Lets face it Microsoft is not that great when it comes to advertising their products , but occasionally they do get it right and puts up an ad on youtube that shows off the product and is funny , this is one of those. Just a sidenote : I think you might need to manually sync before the changes show up
The OneNote app for Windows Phone makes grocery shopping a breeze, until someone at home modifies the list on the family’s touch screen PC. See what happens when dad’s shopping list syncs via SkyDrive and comes to life. It’s a great time to be a family.
