Twitpics on the People Hub

Good news for all you Twitter addicts constantly uploading pics on twitpics. Microsoft has done some behind the curtains tweaking and twitpics are now visible on the people and pictures hub in addition to pictures already syncd from Facebook and Skydrive. Earlier the hub only used to show a static link to the image. This wasn’t offered by any update but just seems a change Microsoft did the way Windows Phones connect and fetch from the cloud. Hopefully we will be seeing more of these updates.

We are spoilt for choice when it comes to twitter apps, but once Twitter integration is added to the People Hub, lot of these apps will not be required, but till then we need twitter apps. If you don’t already have a twitter client here is a new one to consider. Features and Press release below

WP7 App Description

The TwittWp is a powerful twitter application for windows phone 7 devices. Its user inferface is customization and easy to use. It is specially designed for twitter users. We try to suit users’needs to get information fast. With the exception of the same features as all other Twitter apps, such as the timeline, direct massages, mentions, reply tweets, and post the tweets, it also includes many new cool features.

TouchTwit gets updated to 1.7

TouchTwit

After three & a half months of waiting, TouchTwit finally gets updated.
Its added a few new features, fixed some bugs & it even feels slightly quicker.

So whats changed? Read more to find out!

TouchTwit has been my personal favorite Twitter client for a very long time & I was very sad when a bug appeared which stopped it from even opening on my device. It has a chunky finger-friendly interface with quick flick scrolling & a feature for everything Twitter can do!

This new update fixes this and a couple of other bugs so its back to being brilliant.

Another interview has taken place over twitter between the folks at tracyandmatt.co.uk and WindowsPhoneUK. Tracy&Matt got their followers to send in questions to ask and at 12:30 it got under way. It had a bit of a rocky start with Tracy & Matt having some twitter issues, but they were quickly resolved. They asked questions about games, release dates, skype, video calls and various other things.

Slim Twit ia a new twitter client for Windows Mobile that is developed by xdevsoftware.com. I dont think its available for download just yet. From a quick look at the screenshots we didnt notice any unique features to the app but we will keep an eye on it for you to see how the app turns out closer to a release date.
