I am not a heavy video user on the go ( on my Windows Phone ) , I usually spend the time listening to an audiobook or trying to play games that I need to review on the windows phone games site. But I am sure there are quite a few guys / gals out there who would rather watch a movie / TV show on the go. Apparently the automatic conversion of videos for Windows Phone done by Zune might not always be the best possible quality and there are other ways in which you can convert the video so that you get the best possible audio and video experience on your Windows Phone.
This guide by fellow xda-dev member rvmax shows us how we can apparently encode a HD video ( 720p or 1080p ) and hard-code the subtitles in to the video so that we can see that on the phone. We will be using a free Open Source software called VidCoder.
If you have played iBlast Moki on Windows Phone 7 you probably had a hard time getting the gold medal in the Mountainland , Level one Balance . Windows Phone 7 iBlast Moki is a great game but this annoying level can be really frustrating. but thanks to some clever players , who figured out the trick to complete this level in under 1.5 seconds and this will unlock the gold medal for you.

As you may know, newly updated & customized ROMs come out of xda-developers like a factory of Windows Mobile goodness, but to many people the process of “cooking” a ROM is a complete mystery. I personally still think its 75% magic. Luckily, theres a step by step guide in the works which should explain it simply enough that even I can understand it. Its even got pictures!
This tutorial will show you guys how to install a CAB onto your windows mobile device. We are going to use a HTC Diamond which is a VGA device from HTC ( I am currently using a WM6.5.5 ROM by NRGZ28 also known as the Chef behind the EnergyROM series ). So some of the screens might look different on your non HTC devices / WM 6.x / WM 5 devices and Windows Mobile Device Center a.k.a WMDC
Most of the time you get a CAB file to install and there are many ways to install this. If you download the cab on your mobile device skip to step8, If you get the CAB on your PC this tutorial will show you how to get the cab on your PC and then you can install it. At times you get an EXE you have to install on your PC ( after syncing your PC and Mobile device ) and the app is installed on your mobile device.
For this example we take a look at Elecont Weather, I got the CAB from their website.
