ArkWords is a windows phone 7 app that gives the user access to an online Dictionary, Thesaurus and even a Translator all from within the single windows phone 7 app. You just need to swipe across to access each module. We are not sure where the app fetches its data from but it works really well. Of course you will need to have an active internet connection for the app to work. Some of the handy features of the WP7 app is that you can pull up the word of the day with a simple push of a button. And you can even let the app say out the word which can be very handy if you are unsure of the pronunciation. You will notice that the say button will be grayed out if read out option is unavailable for that language. We did run in to some issue with the Live Tile on Samsung Omnia 7, the developer is aware of the issue and has informed us of similar issue on the focus. If you do try it out let us know how it goes on your WP7 device.

Polyglot is a new Windows Phone 7 Translator developed by VerySoftware. The developers call it your personal translator and you can translate text back and forth between more than 30 languages unlike the very limited options available in the one offered by Microsoft, as well as playback audio of the translation. Polyglot is powered by Microsoft Translator and supports both orientation ( landscape / portrait ). The UI looks quite nice with an nice way to switch between the various languages. And is currently available in 5 different local languages.
Translator is a new app coming to Windows Phone 7 from Karim Esskalli the app features some nice features like posting the translated content to twitter, Swap the languages used for translations, shared the translated content via email, sms , etc , and the best feature of all has to be the option to read out the translated content. We are not sure which translator engine ( like Google, Bing, etc ) the app uses The app is powered by Bing translate. I think an app like this will be quite handy of you travel a lot.
Travel Speech is a new Speech and Text translator for Windows Phone 7. According to the developer 11 languages will be having voice support (en, de, es, fr, it, pt, ru, ja, ko, zh_chs, zh-cht) and text translation would be available for 32 languages.
