WMPoweruser was tipped off about HTC’s latest ROM update for the Touch Pro. The software upgrade posted provides several key enhancements for the Sprint HTC Touch Pro and can be downloaded directly from HTC.
Improvements:
- TouchFlo 3D updated to improve speed and stability
- Dialer application enhanced to improve the handling of incoming calls
- Resolves an issue using the “r” and “w” keys on the virtual keypad
- Improves contact searching performance
- Includes a variety of minor bug fixes

Compared to the HTC Touch Diamond, the Touch Pro is essentially the same device – just 6.77mm thicker to accommodate the keyboard and larger battery (1350mAh vs. 900mAh), and it also has much less storage space, but adds a microSD slot for expansion.
