Orange confirmed UK carrier for Toshiba TG01

Toshiba's TG01

First it was Japan. Now the Windows Mobile Powerhouse device Toshiba TG01 is said to be on Orange in the UK according to Engadget.com. Its the world’s first Snapdragon powered device.

According to engadget.com NTT DoCoMo T-01A is the same TG01 device revealed by Toshiba back in February running Qualcomm’s ultra-fast 1GHz Snapdragon chipset. The only letdown with this device is the unimpressive UI, but since its a Windows Mobile device we can run any 3rd party UI and customize it to our liking.

If you are a fan of the Toshiba TG01 device here is some treat for you. The device has got a 4.1 inch WVGA with a 1 GHz Processor ( the best till date on a WM device ). Its also said to be the thinnest Windows Mobile phone.

TG01 has got some impressive hardware spec 4.1-inch screen is clear, video and gaming are excellent on the 1GHz Snapdragon processor. But the UI is not something to brag about, franking it looks ugly.

Toshiba TG01 has some excellent specs to show off , device will feature a widget interface ( similar to the Samsung Omnia ) and also the ugly 3 color interface.
