JTdLnch is a program launcher that uses animated transitions to switch between different pages of program shortcuts.
Here is the explanation of all the tabs available in the settings menu, which can be found under Start Menu>Programs>JTdLnchSet. ( via freewarepocketpc.net and pocketnow )
Tab 1 (Pages):
This is the foundation of the launcher. Before adjusting anything else, you will want to create a new page. To achieve this, simply enter a title for the new page on the first line of this tab. Then, select the preferred launcher pattern. The left box is the pattern set for portrait mode, the right is for landscape. Experiment with a few until you find one you like (previews can be viewed on dev’s site). Next, click “add” and you’ll see the entry displayed in the bottom window. If you decide to change the pattern later, be sure to click edit after making the changes or they may not take.
If you’re still sporting the default Today screen for plug-ins, Easy Today Launcher may be of interest to you. The concept is simple, you’re able to pick your favorite apps and display their shortcuts right on the Today screen for easy access, hence the name “Easy Today Launcher.” You can also choose between large or small icons, depending how much space you have left on the Today screen. There are many apps that do this, but most of them will cost you money. Start launching your favorite apps quickly for free!
ThrottleLauncher is a finger friendly launcher app for Windows Mobile 5 and 6, It replaces the today screen with a TouchFlo like interface containing a horizontally scrollable row. The application is fully configurable through xml files. The rows can contain several type of items like icons, clock, text, photo dialler, recently used applications etc. Consider this the All in One ( AIO ) Theme for Windows Mobile , as you can see from the pic above you get themes to mimic the iPhone, Palm Pre, Android, Windows Mobile 7 ( from the leaked screenshots ).

Need to do some simple calculations? Just tap away on your Today screen. No need to launch any other application. StickyCalc 1.0 is small, compact and offers all the basic math functions.
This is a really old application, but its a handy one. Its got quite a few bugs as well. Must use “=” between all entries. If you want to add 1+2+5 you have to do “1+2=+5=”. If you do “1+2+5=” you get 7.
AM TasksPlus is a Today Screen plug-in that replaces the simplified tasks plug-in provided by the PocketPC manufacturer. AM TasksPlus shows compact tasks statistics or a detailed list of incomplete tasks grouped by date (Actual, Due today, Overdue and Future tasks). Groups can be easily switched between the compact and detailed form. Using user defined configuration profiles, various views can be quickly applied to change the Today screen.
The default task and appointments on today screen is not a great feature of Windows Mobile , On a scale of 1-5 where 1 is the lowest I would rate it 0. Many commercial application like SPB Diary offers a very powerful today plugin replacement for task and appointments. Recently I was looking for a freeware alternative for the same and came across TodayAgenda.
TodayAgenda displays appointments and tasks on your today screen up to 30 days in advance. It replaces the default Outlook plugin with a lot of more features. On a scale of 1-5 this gets a 4. The only drawback I found was that it takes a while to refresh the today screen plugin once changes are made. How would you rate this application ?
