This amazing theme is developed by arley12 from xda-developers. via xda-dev. If this theme ever gets released I am sure many of us would be replacing the current UI on Windows Mobile with this. It looks fantastic, check the video and see for yourself. This is a Windows Phone 7 theme for ThrottleLauncher 1.0. Will you put this on your device ?
We don’t know much about it but it looks like this will be released by the end of this week, or the beginning of the next one. ThrottleLauncher 1.0 uses 3d hardware acceleration with OpenGL (for devices supporting it ofcourse) and includes a lot of new features like MNG and APNG animations support. The new version includes a new theme designed for VGA/wVGA resolution (qVGA and wqVGA is also supported).
ThrottleLauncher is a touch friendly and customizable user interface for Windows Mobile. It rivals the likes of PointUI and brings a lot to the table. Best of all, it’s free. The newest release includes lots of improvements and bug fixes over the previous version. It’s now faster even on VGA and WVGA devices, includes some nice features for theme developers like fade in and fade out effects, animations have been optimized to work smoother and more.
ThrottleLauncher has been fully rewritten and is working a lot faster and smoother than the previous versions, providing a completely refreshed UI experience. The changes include, between many other features, widgets for Facebook and an RSS reader, and much more flexibility for Theme developers. ThrottleLauncher has the unique capability to change themes (found on developer’s site). Download link after the break.

When the HTC Hero made its appearance the UI on it called the HTC Sense was the eye candy. HTC has made a huge impact on Windows Mobile with its TouchFlo UI. ( If you want to Install TouchFlo 2D see this post ) and HTC Sense for Android was looking to do the same. But us Windows Mobile users was greedy and wanted the HTC Sense UI for Windows Mobile and look @ what it has got us. There are 2 different application that brings the look of Sense UI on to Windows Mobile.
The screenshot above is for thr PointUI version of the application. The other one is the ThrottleLauncher version as seen below. Video of both the theme in action after the break. via PocketNow.com
