Looking for a speech Translator app that can translate Klingon or Parseltongue ? You have to keep looking then coz this one cant do them at least not yet but if you want to just translate the other major languages in use today then we might have an app for you called iSpeak Speech Translator. iSpeak allows people with different native languages to communicate with each other through a windows phone. The app uses some handy gestures to switch between the various interface eg: you pick the language you want to speak in and what you want to translate it in to and rotate the phone and the app now starts to listen to what you are saying .. check out the video and press release below for more info

This handy language tool allows two people who speak entirely different languages to have a normal conversation with each other. iSpeak takes speech translation to a whole new usability level to defeat the language barrier! One person speaks in their phrase, it is converted to text and the result is spoken to the second person in their native language. There is a text translator available which supports more languages than the speech translation does and you can even send your text translation via SMS, Email or share it via Facebook or windows live messenger. iSpeak also let’s you save your conversations which can come in very useful when asking for directions :)

TellMeText intercepts incoming SMS (text) messages to your Windows Mobile device and reads them out to you before they go to your inbox. This can be really useful in situations where you have your phone but can’t or don’t want to physically touch it to read incoming messages. (For example, if you’re driving a car or eating your lunch). TellMeText can run in the background so it doesn’t interfere with your normal use of the device. PC Phone Edition 2003SE or later Any Windows Mobile 6 Standard or Professional. Best of all its a freeware.

The TextToSpeech functionality is provided by software from the Flite project. TellMeText requires privileged access to your device in order to intercept the SMS messages. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you download and install BlondieSoft’s Windows Mobile Certificates first. ( might not need to do this on custom cooked ROMS)

Install Instructions

• Install MobileCertificates.cab file first
• Now install TellMeText_Signed.cab to either main memory or MMC
• Soft-reset your device
• Execute the program and choose minimize from the menu to make it run in the background
