NotepadWS is a text editor application for windows phone with tabs feature and some interesting tools such as the Web Search. We took at look at version 2.0 a while back . See the video for that by clicking this link. The developer has added a few of the features that we said we would love to see in this app.
Changes in this version :
- Word-wrap options added
- Max filesize allowed increased
- Copy/paste between tabs
- Single click option added
- File and Folder shortcuts boxes added
- Font and colors customization tool added
- Start folder option added (if left blank, the folder of last file used is taken)
- Ability to setup and save the properties of each tab; now the user can have
up to 4 tabs completely different one from another.
NotepadWS is a notepad-like application with TABS feature and some interesting tools such as the WEB SEARCH. The Web Search (context menu) allows you to get google, wiki or dictionary contents about the word or text selected from NotepadWS, it could be a good way to perform your search quickly and easily!

Text Editors are not in short supply on Windows Mobile but NotepadWS offers something that most others dont have. With this text editor you can perform online search of selected text, which can be quite handy.

Shp Notepad is a simple to use text editor for Windows Mobile devices. There’s not much more to say than that. It currently includes almost all features supported in the full Windows Version of Notepad, and a couple more:

moBlog is a mobile blogging application for Windows Mobile devices. moBlog currently supports Blogger, WordPress.com and Live Spaces. It has support for LiveJournal and MovableType/TypePad. You can use the application offline to save battery and resources. A connection is only required when you initially setup your blogging accounts and when you want to update your blog with the new content. moBlog allows you to save the blog posts locally while they are still being written and edited. Once it is published, the local copy is automatically deleted from the device in order to free up the storage space. A new feature in version 2.2 is that moBlog will retrieve your last 20 blog posts.
AgileNotes is a new Windows Mobile notes application. The app comes in a freeware version and a paid version. The freeware version is a feature limited version of the paid app.[ UPDATE : The developer has released this app as a Freeware.. ] One thing you guys will notice about this app when compared to other text editors is the nice finger friendly interface for the menu.
AgileNotes has two main “screens” – File manager, and Editor. File manager supports operations like Copy, Cut, Paste, Create folder, Rename and Delete for files and folder. The Editor screen is the main component of AgileNotes. This is where you edit the text and is feature packed with many features like changing fonts , color, strikethrough, etc
