The authenticity of the document is still up in the air on this one but there is chance the info in the document might be real, the image is apparently a Photoshop of HTC Desire with the WP7 UI pasted on top of the screen. The apparent leak comes from xda-devs via PocketNow. If any of you guys from Telstra are reading this .. feel free to confirm or deny this :) . Will we get a WP7 down under in Oct 2010 ?
An updated ROM is now available for Telstra customers using the HTC HD2. According to HTC Keeping in touch has always been very important, and this upgrade delivers fast and reliable SMS messaging. Just hit up the link at the end for detailed instruction on how to upgrade and you can file the download file from there.
A new HTC Touch Pro2 (Telstra) ROM update is available from the HTC website. ROM Version:1.93.841.0
Before you proceed, please confirm that this software upgrade is a newer version than what is currently installed on your device. If it is the same version and your device is operating normally, there is no need to reinstall the software. To check what version is installed on your device, click Start > Settings > System tab > Device Information > Version tab, and note the ROM version, CPU, and Radio version.

According to WMPU The Telstra HTC HD2 has travelled all the way across to USA and is now being used on AT&T. The user did flash the Telstra ROM with a custom ROM available via xda-developers. check out his impressions of the device : xda-developers
