If you’ve been waiting for a free version of either Tap Tap Revenge or Guitar Hero to hit Windows Mobile, we’re getting closer to that reality. Arlanthir recently released the next beta of his musical game, Touch The Music. It has many similar qualities of Guitar Hero, but it is still early in development. For now, you can play the opening notes to one song by Guns N’ Roses. The best part about this update is the newly added multi-touch scoring in order to play chords, like in the real Guitar Hero. It’s not true multi-touch, but at least it works as though it is for this matter.

The developer recently put together a new design and music team, so there will be huge changes coming soon. Hopefully, this means we will see great progress in this game. Feel free to visit his Touch the Music thread to give suggestions and feedback.

Note: this is still a beta release, so it’s pretty much like playing a demo.
