The folks from bestboyz.de got treated to some glamor shots of the HTC Mondrain, which we saw in some concept shots earlier and rumors of a 1.3 Gz processor which given HTC’s other WP7 devices sounds too good to be true.

HTC HD3 real pics and specs .. Disappointing

HTC HD2 was a game changer and we all had high hope for the HTC HD3 ( or HTC HD7 as it was being rumored ) but according to the latest rumor that unveiled the specs and the real pics ( not a HD3 concept ), I was disappointed with the offering from HTC.

I admit that after HD2 my expectation was high for HD7 but with the specs reveled as

4.3-inch WVGA
1GHz processor
8GB of storage ( not yet known if an user expandable memory is available )
5 MP Camera with dual flash and HD video capture
Kickstand – around the camera surround

I felt it is mediocre at best, the screen size and camera sounds fine but 1GHz processor and 8GB storage ( which are the minimum requirement ) was hoping more from HD7 which I thought will be a super smart phone. I can make my peace with 8GB storage if we can add our own memory card but reports suggest that this is not likely. Now I kinda wish the HD3 is not the HD7 and the real HD7 will have some amazing specs. What do you guys think ?

The HTC 7 Trophy for Windows Phone 7 caught on camera

When we last saw a rumored HTC 7 Trophy we thought that it will be a candybar form factor device for WP7. One of our reader cccsec was very impressed with this device’s form factor unfortunately for him this new spyshot will be disappointing coz this shows the HTC 7 Trophy does not have the candybar form factor and resembles a lot like the other HTC offerings. We did point out that the with capacitive touch screen and the strong focus on games, we are highly unlikely to see a candybar form factor on WP7. We might get a vertical slider with a numeric keypad but not the candybar.

New Samsung WP7 spotted in the wild

We all have seen the Samsung Taylor but this looks nothing like it. I don’t quite like it especially after seeing the HTC Schubert. We ont know what specs it features. But from the images it looks like there will be no front facing camera and since its a Samsung it will most likely feature a Super AMOLED screen. via PocketNow more via Twitter Andrejt

HTC Huashan Images Leaked .. it won’t be WP7

moooxooom from xda-dev have released these images which he found in some HTC Huashan ROM. Rumors have been going around that this might be a WP7 device. Here is why we think it wont be.

HTC-Huashan- Stylus ???

Plus according to an older report by WMExperts these devices will most likely be made available for the Chinese smartphone market. More images on the xda-dev thread.

Spyshots : Zune Desktop App sync with Windows Phone 7

Its no secret that the Zune Desktop app is going to replace WMDC / ActiveSync , but the version of the app that has the ability to sync with WP7 is not available to the public just yet ( the phones are not here yet so why the need to the desktop app ) but dont we like to get an early peek on how the app will look like. Well you lot are lucky coz the folks from beingmanan.com managed to grab a few snaps of a prototype Zune Desktop app that apparently has a Phone tab ( I haven’t used the Zune , so I am not sure how far this goes to prove WP7 sync ). According to them :

Yesterday at IndiMIX 2010 the last session ran into a technical snag where the ASUS Galaxy didn’t sync with Visual Studio. To try and fix the problem, the speaker launched the Zune desktop to re-configure the device. The Zune desktop gets a new tab under ‘Settings‘ called ‘phone’. When you start the sync wizard you’re asked to enter your Windows Live credentials for setting up the device.

LG Panther a.k.a LG GW910 packaging and boot up video – WP7

Remember the LG WP7 device with a slideout landscape keyboard ? The guys from Innovative Singapore got their hands on the device and have put up some unboxing pics and the video for the boot sequence. Other notes accompanying the leak state that while the OS still has plenty of rough edges and is being updated with new builds almost every other day, it’s “more or less feature complete” and very fast. The camera on the device looks quite good , check out the image below.

Spyshot of the new LG Windows Phone 7

The above picture was leaked by a Microsoft employee from France on Flickr. It is said to be the new Windows Phone 7 device with a 3.8 inch AMOLED screen and 5 megapixel camera and also included QWERTY keyboard, front-facing camera, etc. This looks like the same device that Engadget showed us a while back. via WMEXperts

So you all have seen the Windows Phone 7 devices from LG, Dell, Samsung, HTC and Asus. Which one do you think you will go for ?
