QuickText is another groups SMS app for Windows Phone 7 devices. Since the ability to create groups is absent on WP7 this app helps to set up predefined groups so that you can quickly sent out updates to multiple friends / colleagues at once. Press release below

The main feature of QuickText is SPEED. It loads quickly and the user can navigate through the app quickly. Once groups and messages have been configured, it only takes 3 taps to get a group text message ready to send. Load app, select the group, select the message, hit send, and you’re done.
You can define Groups (a collection of Contacts), Messages, and Group-specific Messages. Contact information can be imported from your phone’s people hub, or entered manually.
Future versions will have support for Message Variables such as the current date/time, gps location, etc.

You can save all the SMS commands used by your bank and then easily use them via the SMS on Windows Phone 7. Check out the developers description below

With this app you can store SMS command templates for each operation so you can perform them with a single tap without the need to remember any syntax.Even more, it allows you to define parameters for the commands which will be prompted in a friendly way just before sending the SMS. AngelDeath from xda-dev have posted a new hack for the HTC Messaging Client. Running the cab will activate in “Traditional Mode” (inbox, sent, drafts in SMS) to limit how many msgs will load before it will pause and wait for you to tap on the more button for it to continue loading msgs. The Default is 500, but that number can easily be changed in the registry to any number from 1 to whatever number you feel is a good limit, be it 50, 100 etc. It will only work in the traditional mode and will NOT work in threaded/conversation mode yet.

SMS Cloud Backup is a new windows phone app developed by computerjunkie from xda-developers. SMS Cloud Backup reads your SMS from your Message inbox (MMS is not supported in this version ) and sends a backup of all your SMS Conversation (threaded) to an email account of your choice. The body of the email is filled with your conversation (one email per conversation). You can also choose to send a backup of your SMS account an an attachment in a separate email for future restores (Restore option will be available in the next release). You can also choose to clear out your SMS account folders (Inbox, Sent, and Deleted). You may install this application on your Storage Card if you so desire. You will need .NET CF 3.5 on your device for this to work.
