Ah yes a shopping list app, every one will look for one of these at some of time after getting their smartphone. I used to run with Onenotes for my shopping list and that works well for my need so I wasn’t too fussed about looking for an alternate solution. But when I got an email about a free shopping list app I decided to give it a go and I was quite pleased with what Shopglider had to offer. So yeah we will be going through a quick review for Shopglider a WP7 shopping list app.
ShopGlider allows you maintain a shopping list on the web that you can now access on the go with your Windows Phone 7, one of the best part about this is that you can share your list with your family and friends. So if you are heading to the store your housemate can update the shopping list with more items or if he or she has already purchased some groceries they can remove it from the list and when you are at the store and open up your shopping list and syncs it from the website you get the current shopping list with just the things you need to buy. The concept is really nice and being a free app there is no reason why you shouldn’t try it.

Over time there will be quite a few shopping list app on WP7 marketplace but shopstar! looks like an app that tries to stand out from the rest by keeping track of individual shopping items across all the stores you shop at. It only requires a one time setup by you to add stores, add items and set their re-stock frequency. According to the developers the features include
- One master items list shared across all stores with the ability to add or remove items from each store
- Reminds the user when it is time to restock a particular item
- You can set manual reminders if items needs to be bought before the normal re-stock frequency
- You can view/shop items by category for each store
- Ease of use to tick off items you shopped when in a store

joeylicc from xda-dev have released a new shopping list app for windows phone. This is a simple shopping list application with HTC Sense style UI. The app requires you to have Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 installed on your device if you dont get it from here.
