Kheb is a windows phone app developed by Elemris from xda-developers. These days you cant be sure of what apps installs on your windows phone, remember the international dialer in the cracked 3d anti-terrorist game ? Now we have a tool that can help us avoid such issues, all thanks to Elemris from xda-developers. Kheb allows you to see exactly what changes any software makes on your Pocket PC. It works by taking complete snapshots of your PPC’s state, and creating a diff file that shows the changes between snapshots.

Features :
• Kheb shows you where an application places its files – for example, sometimes the executable and shortcuts are placed in obscure locations, with Kheb you can always find them.
• Security – See for yourself if dubious applications install sneaky registry settings to auto-load, or if they leave traces behind after being uninstalled using Kheb.
• Helps create a custom CAB or OEM package based on an existing CAB, even if the CAB uses setup.dll to run code during installation. Kheb is great for aspiring ROM Chefs.
• Kheb gives you a deeper understanding of how system settings work under the hood.
• Kheb tells you exactly where an application hides its “registration information” after you enter a valid serial number. It can help you avoid going through annoying registration schemes over and over. Note that Kheb isn’t a hacking tool – you still need to properly register first, though Kheb could be used to easily create pre-registered releases.
• Kheb helps you learn – if you’re a software developer, studying real-life examples of registry changes will let you find interesting and useful hooks into the system that you can use in your own software.

Aiko Solutions, Europe’s leading Windows Mobile security software developer, today released SecuBox version 1.5, an advanced data encryption solution for Windows Mobile phones. SecuBox provides transparent on-the-fly encryption of data stored in the smartphone memory and its media cards. SecuBox protects corporate and personal information in case the mobile devices get lost or stolen. SecuBox is Windows Mobile 6 certified.

SecuBox makes it possible for any Windows Mobile user to enjoy state-of-the-art security without changing their work routines. Anyone can securely store their confidential documents, private files and images and customer data in a SecuBox container, protected by AES 256 bit encryption, the U.S. government standard encryption algorithm. SecuBox ensures no data leaks occur on the go, as it will automatically lock data when the user becomes inactive or when the phone goes into “sleep” mode. “We have designed this new version to provide not only reliability and maximum security, but offer such convenience that can make encryption a good habit,” says Alexander Kutsy, Aiko Solutions CTO.

SecuBox 1.5 main features:

Strong AES 256 bit encryption

Encryption key backup

Auto-unmount on device sleep

Auto-unmount after a certain period of storage inactivity

DOD Wiping

Command line support

Integration with Windows Mobile File Explorer

“Recently Mounted List”

Ability to choose third party file explorer

Support for ARM, MIPS, SH3, SH4, X86 processor types

“Strengthen Encryption Key” option

4Gb SecuBox storages are now supported

Recently I received an email from the folks @ AikoSolutions.com and they wanted me to review their encrypted file storage application for Pocket Pc and Smartphones called SecuBox . How many of us store personal and sensitive information on our mobile devices ? Most of us do. When we consider security related products for pocket pc we dont give much importance to them, but with increase in the use of mobile devices in our everyday lives we should be more concerned about the data we have on these devices. SecuBox created an encrypted partition for sensitive data. All information written to this encrypted storage is automatically encrypted on the fly using industry standard AES 256-bit encryption.
