WVGAFIX3 is a pocket pc freeware change that can change the screen resolution WVGA<->VGA<->SQVGA and WQVGA<->QVGA<->SQQVGA. This program allow you to change screen resolution. Program designed mostly for devices with wide screens - 800×480 or 400×240.
(Toshiba G900, SE Xperia X1, HTC Touch HD, HTC MAX 4G)
So if game or program don’t work in wide mode you can try it in normal VGA/QVGA mode. Probably it will work.

Installation:

  • Copy CAB files to device
  • Install SdkCerts.cab first
  • Install second cab file
  • Do soft reset
  • Now you can see WVGAFIX3 in Programs.

RealVGA 1.1 - change the screen resolution on windows mobile

With Real VGA you can change the DPI setting and the language of any WM6 base deivce. The current version is 1.1 and in downloading the RealVGA cabinet file your only resolution setting and language is 128dpi and English. To add the 96dpi setting and additional languages, you simply install the other .CAB files( install to Phone Memory ). Once installed you are presented with a three option menu screen. Drop down menus are there for the dpi and language. You also have a check box for “disable phone skin” which, keeps your phone dialer from looking strange. When you adjust the settings, a soft reset is required to have the settings take affect because you are changing the registry.
