NewsGeek has put up a video of WP7 vs the iPhone 3Gs on their youtube channel. We are not sure what network ( WiFi or 3G .. ) these devices are connected to. It looks like they try 3 websites
il.msn.com
nytimes.com
microsoft.com
iPhone 3GS outperforms the WP7 device ( when you look at the load time ). Keep in mind WP7 is a prototype device. But since the OS is quite close to the release build and IE Mobile is not looking to live up to its promise. Opera you will be missed :(
Does anyone know if the Taylor has the required min specs for WP7 ( coz this is a device that will NOT be released , its just a prototype device for developers )
Engadget got their hands on WP7 and they seems to be impressed with the device head over there for the full in-depth review of WP7 ( Pre Release version ). From the video one thing that looks annoying is the white text in backgrounds with light shades doesn’t look very readable but all in all a positive response.
Well there were speculations that WP7 wont have video recording, but as most of us already know those were just some stupid rumors. Now Joe Huffman ( who according to his blog post is a member of the Windows Phone team ) has posted a short video , apparently taken on his Windows Phone 7. Video quality is ok but not HD ( iPhone 4 will have HD quality video recording ). We dont yet know if WP7 will have an HD option for video recording but this video does not look like its in HD. He took the video on the Samsung Taylor ? I haven’t noticed that name before… any thoughts on the specs for Samsung Taylor , other than the obvious WP7 requirement.
