A few downsides to this device are the apparent lag to load widgets when switching from panel-to-panel, the absence of the ability to list new programs on the Main Menu while in TouchWiz mode, and the inability to switch to landscape mode in most programs. Plus, the abundance of static shortcuts and the lack of live-updating widgets was surprising. Samsung should create more actual widgets, like Smart Memo, that reflect live activity right on the widget, rather than a static website shortcuts. Live-updating MySpace, Facebook, or Twitter widgets would have been better ideas.

In this video by we see Samsung Omnia II and Nokia N900 screens compared in direct sunlight. Clearly the AMOLED Screen on the Samsung Omnia II out shines the OLED Nokia N900 Screen.

Samsung Omnia 2 ( left ) vs HTC HD2 ( right )
hdblog.it has posted some great screen comparison between the 2 hottest device on the market. The AMOLED Screen Omnia II vs the capacitive screen HTC HD2. From the screenshot above you can make out that the AMOLED Screen on the Samsung Omnia II looks way better than the the HTC HD2.

rodrigofd from MoDaCo has managed to get the HTC Sense UI running on his Samsung Omnia 2. It looks like he has managed to get HTC Sense cooked in to a ROM for the Omnia 2. He has not released the ROM yet but has put up a video to show off his creation. Samsung Omnia 2 keep your eyes on this thread, which will soon be updated with more info on how to download the new ROM.
