NextGen Reader is a Google reader app for windows phone, this app has recently been updated to take advantage of Mango features and here is what is new in version 2.2

• Google Reader service does not supports like and share in reader feature anymore.
• Faster sync. (changes synced immediately)
• Huge bandwidth savings. (up to 6-10x times)
• Option to sort articles by oldest first.
• Mark above as read. (tap and hold on 51st item to mark above 50 items as read)
• Hap-tic feedback. (vibrate when download completes, or star icon tapped)
• Display name of the folder when inside a category instead of “All Items”.
• Fixed live tile related issues.
• Support for awesome readability mobilizer.
• Lock orientation option now works in mobilizer page as well.
• Live tile doesn’t display ’999′ if you’ve more than 1000 unread items.
• several bug fixes and improvements.

gReadie

gReadie app has been mango’ ed and is a total rewrite for the Mango tools to take full advantage of the new capabilities on the phone For the uninitiated gReadie ia a Google Reader client for Windows Phone 7.

• Secure oAuth authentication with Google offers the most secure login. Also all traffic is now HTTPS
• Save posts to Read It Later, Instapaper or Pinboard. Even when offline.
• Share posts to Facebook, Twitter, Linked In or Windows Live
• Share posts via Email or SMS
• Grey on black “Low Contrast” mode is now supported application wide. So is the adjustable font size
• Screen orientation lock
• French translation improved (by a human.. who speaks French!)
• German translation improved (by another human.. who speaks German!)
• Mobilizers are back. Readability, Instapaper or Google.
• Title only “Compact View” is back.
• Added a “None” option to Quick Save which hides the button.

A free, ad supported version of feed me version 1.6 is now available on the marketplace. This version includes all of the features of the current paid version, but is restricted to four feeds for the live tile. If the advertising works out as expected, this limit will be increased in the next update.

Key Features:

1. Live tile shows new article count (for up to 4 feeds)
2. Add a YouTube feed. All the standard feeds are supported as well as user uploads and searches
3. View YouTube videos embedded in an article or web page
4. Watch HQ and HD YouTube videos over your 3G connection
5. View or listen to podcasts and download them for offline access
6. Listen to podcasts in the background while browsing other articles
7. Tweet or e-mail articles, post to facebook or send the link in a SMS
