Push Gmail for Pocket PC / Smartphones
Do you make use of Windows Mobile phone’s ability to do PUSH Email? If not do u rely on ActiveSync or you pop/IMAP Client to to PULL your email every hour. We will be looking @ what the fuss is all about on Email (and contacts/calendar, in some cases) pushed to your phone. Its not as hard as it looks below Promise.

So Push Email , what is it ?
Ordinarily when you receive a mail , lets say for example on gmail it stays on the gmail server. You might have configured the mail client on the PPC to check your gmail mail server for new mail every x minutes. so technically your PPC “PULLS” the mail from gmails server. In PUSH email the gmail server notifies the PPC when ever a new mail comes in and pushes it on to the PPC when ever you get a new email. Its not technically sound what i have written there but that the basic idea, you can always jump on to wikipedia for all the hardcore info.
