Tom_Hungston has created an app for easily turning off your device’s screen. This idea comes from the notion that you might wear your power button out by using it too much. Power Tweaker is an application that allows you to set up 4 power profiles. Each profile defines backlight timeout and power off time for both AC and battery modes. This application also allows you to set up a default profile that should be applied after each soft reset.
