Shp Notepad is a simple to use text editor for Windows Mobile devices. There’s not much more to say than that. It currently includes almost all features supported in the full Windows Version of Notepad, and a couple more:

File Menu: New, Open, Save, Save As, Last 4 opened files on File menu under “Recent”
Edit Menu: Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Find…, Replace, Select All, Insert Time/Date

TypeNote, created by ronnyh, is a simple application for taking notes, sorted by category. It was made for the HTC Diamond, but it should resize to fit most screen sizes.

* Auto open category (usefull if you often use one category more often than others)
* Hide buttons and title while editing.. gives more space for text.
* Portable application (does not require re-install if folder moved and system re-installed)

AgileNotes is a new Windows Mobile notes application. The app comes in a freeware version and a paid version. The freeware version is a feature limited version of the paid app. One thing you guys will notice about this app when compared to other text editors is the nice finger friendly interface for the menu.

AgileNotes has two main “screens” – File manager, and Editor. File manager supports operations like Copy, Cut, Paste, Create folder, Rename and Delete for files and folder. The Editor screen is the main component of AgileNotes. This is where you edit the text and is feature packed with many features like changing fonts , color, strikethrough, etc
