The app offers you the Euro 2012 content from Goal.com , When you launch the app you get the info regarding the current or next upcoming match. It will tell you wime the game will begin. ( the app did give me info on when the game will begin in Australia, I am not sure it will do that for all region ) You can click on it bring up some stats about the teams past encounters and if the game is currently in progress you will get minute by minute progress report !! You can also check out the stats for upcoming games and full report for completed games.

June 3, 2012 | Saijo George 3After an exclusive Dark Knight app for Windows Phone, Nokia is pushing on its exclusive app lineup .. this time we have a movie trailers app called Nokia Trailers ( genius name don’t you think !!! ). As you can imagine it’s an app to view Hollywood movie trailers. You can stream the latest trailers or download them to your phone. There are some extra settings you can enable by letting the app access to location services and push messages.

I used to see promo apps for movies on the iPhone and I think this might be one of the first ones for our beloved platform. We have seen exclusive hardware for Lumia Dark Knight with Lumia 800 and the 900 and now we have an app / game to build up hype for a move that is downright the most anticipated title this year. The app is free and available via the Nokia Marketplace and now on to the bad news.

With similar apps from Audible very close to being released other OEM users need not worry too badly about this offering. You might also want to check out Spreadsong’s ebook app that offers books from the public domain. France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, and the UK will receive the app first, with other countries speculated to get access later this year.

Nokia adding its own Branded Marketplace Logo on Windows Phone Tango
May 11, 2012 | Saijo George 5Nokia was given special privileges for coming on board the Windows Phone train, they have not really been pushing the boundaries other than adding some custom tiles and ringtones which even other OEMs have provided. Now TheVerge is reporting that Nokia is pushing out a Nokia branded Windows Phone Marketplace logo. The functionalities of the marketplace stays the same its just a pretty logo on top. Now this Nokia device is running on tango a.k.a Windows Phone 7.5 refresh so we are not yet sure if other OEM’s can bring out something similar.
