Network Suite
Network Suite is a new WP7 app developed by ARKconcepts.
( they are the same guys who demoed Arkwords a work in progress dictionary app for WP7 ). You might find yourself in situations where you have to gather information about a specific web host. You might want to Ping the host to see if the network is up and running or you might want to look up the WHOIS info about a host or more and that is where Network Suite for Windows Phone 7 comes in.
Developers Description:
ARKconcepts Network Suite is a tool to help you with various networking needs. It provides the following features:
* Ping
* TCP connect
* HTTP connect
* Current DNS lookup (uses domain’s own DNS server)
* DNS lookup using custom server
* Reverse DNS lookup
* WHOIS information lookup
Most of those actions are done using a remote server since WP7 does not yet support them natively. The HTTP connection, however, is done locally and allows you to connect to internal machines if you are on Wi-Fi.

WoL Everywhere
WoL-Everywhere is a Windows Phone app that allows the user to remotely start his or her PC over the Lan or Internet. WoL ( Wake-on-LAN ) is not a new concept, and network experts will not be new to this term. It is an computer networking standard that allows a computer to be turned on or woken up by a network message. This message is usually generated and sent across from another system in the same local area network or LAN. The developer LichtiMC have made this concept to an app for Windows Mobile. The app uses the Sense SDK and was made for the HD2 and looks like an extension of the Sense interface. The app should work on all WVGA devices and required the .net compact framework v3.5 to be installed on your windows phone.
