Today, Russian website wp7forum.ru leaked images that shed more light on the Tango Update for Windows Phone. The info backed up some of changes we all were already aware of from previous leaks and added some new info to the rumor mill. They show some improvements to the OS in whole and some new limitations as well. We know about Tango Updating via Zune and the added support to many countries. We know about some media control changes, the possibility of folders,and lower specs required. Today we learned more about the lower specs.

Microsoft – giving the media a couple of their 5 a day!

I hate seeing a news article on another site & simply repeating what they have posted, but this article over on wmpu made me laugh.

It seems that Microsoft have been sending out invites to an event with real mangos.

As most of you will know, Mango is the next step in the life of WindowsPhone & its a mighty exciting one at that.

First Microsoft sent out Lego invites, now they are sending out Mangos.

I’m just hoping they send me an invite when they reach the ”Enzo“ update.

Windows Media Player is the default media player that comes pre-installed on Windows Mobile phones. Unfortunately, you cannot play RMVB video files on it. Now, with this plugin, you can open the RMVB file in Windows media player on Windows Mobile 6. RMVB is a very popular file format in Asia, so this should come in handy for people who need to load this particular type of file.

Install procedure:

1: Unzip the file and copy to “\Windows” directory
2: Run the reg. file

Warning: Runs perfectly on i780 with sound, although it does not support fast forward.

HTC Audio Manager version 1.02(1017.717)

Simplified audio player with finger friendly interface. A great
replacement of the Windows Media Player. The HTC audio manager also has a good playlist manager. This is present in most of the cooked roms from xda-dev , but if you dont want to flash your ROM and still want to use HTC audio player on the older devices get it here.
