pTasks

pTasks 0.721 adds a Manila style Outlook Task app for Windows Mobile. This windows mobile freeware was developed bypangel83 from xda-developers. .NET CF 3.5 is required for this app. To get reminders, enable “Reminders” in the “Notification Sounds” (Sense 2.5) or “Sounds & Notifications”.

- More information in crash reports: (device, WM build, ROM language)
- Identify deleted in task choice window
- Mass: Combine, Email
- Activesync will not synchronise tasks when pTasks is open. Implement outlook session timeout.
- Choose category for new quick new tasks
- Integrate translation updates into the built-in update check mechanism
- Sublists (shopping list)
- Recurrence
- Optimise memory usage (properly dispose forms)

TF3D 2/2.5 and S2U2 Snoopy Themes for Windows Mobile

PP18 has created themes of everyone’s favorite cartoon character from years ago, Snoopy. The two themes are for TF3D 2/2.5 (in beta) and S2U2. Both themes are for VGA/WVGA. Hit the jump to get the downloads.

Important Notes:

1. Incompatible theme can make M3D unloadable. For safe, please do a device backup before installation, and mentally prepared hard reset & restore in worst case.
2. This theme was tested on M3D v2.0 on Topaz stock rom only. Try at your own risk for other M3D version.

Manilla 2D – TouchFlo 3D in almost full glory

I recently read a post on HTCSource.com reg the TouchFlo interface with some new roms, It was time for me to flash the ROM on the ageing TyTn. Luckily for me there was a TyTN ROM with the new Manila 2D. I fashed it on to my device and the initial experience is really good. For those who wants to try the new interface with out flashing on to a new ROM juz jupm on the official Manilla Porting thread @ xda-developers.com. There are a few bugs with the application like the audio manger doesn’t update the name of the song, etc

HTC’s “Manilla” is basically a customized interface that’s on top of the standard Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. BoyGeniusReport.com reports that “Manilla” is not technically TouchFLO 2.0, TouchFLO 2.0 just has a few updates to the scrolling part of it and the cube, nothing more than that.

Get Manila Interface to Work !!!

Unfortunately its only for VGA Devices on QVGA it might have messed-up graphics

Download and Install the Manila interface from here

After that download the attachment from this post there is a 2 dll files.
Download, copy them to manila folder and you’re done

I have NOT tried this myself , plz do reply back about your experience with this interface

TouchFLO 2 .. Manila may be ??

HTC’s TouchFLO UI was great because it was one of the first “skin Windows Mobile to make it usable” applications—even if it isn’t quite as good as PointUI. This supposed TouchFlo 2.0 upgrade looks much improved, even if it is still early in the development stage. If you’re feeling brave you can actually try and install it on your own phone and give it a shot. We hope this new version covers up more of the Windows Mobile UI than the original, which was basically just a shortcut launcher system to get you into the ugly, bloody guts of the phone.

Checkout the new drivers release for the devices with Qualcomm 7200 chipset, i’ve found the file below, which should contain a new User Interface code name MANILA.

This does not work @ the moment so plz dont try it yet, the file is provided so developers / hackers can play around withit and release a version that’s compatible on our devices
