When cyberde couldnt find a tool to edit the weather database (xml) in Manila2D he decided to create one.

Features:

  • Runs on your phone!
  • Allows you to add/edit and delete cities from the database
  • Allows you to search AccuWeather.com for the corresponing weather code (no more searching for the code in the website-url whatsoever)
  • Allows you to clear the database and only add the cities you want

Requirements:

  • .Net compact framework 2.0
  • Patched Manila2D to allow alternate cities (eg not2advanced)
  • QVGA compatible deviceWindows Mobile 5.x or higher

The new version of TouchFlo 2D a.k.a Manila 2D version 2.0 is out now, Unlike the older version there are no complex steps involved. Its a simple Download and Install the cab to get it. Some things to keep in mind though.

- this is only WWE version, it won’t work correctly with other languages.
- apparently it does not work with WM6.1 , so only WM6.5 at the moment
- if you had any previous version of Manila, don’t forget to uninstall it and do soft reset before installing this version. Also keep in mind that it will keep your personal settings, like people tab photos, weather cities or launcher number of rows/clomuns.
- for those having problems installing be sure that you have all basic applications from HTC + some others like:
+ HTC Album
+ HTC Audio Manager, AudioBooster, Trimmer …
+ YouTube
+ GoogleMaps
- in Settings Tab Wallpaper change and New Mail Setup does not work.

Do you miss your old today screen with lots of those today plugin but doesn’t want to loose all the new charm of Manila 2d/3d, then this application is just for you. This program displays today plug-ins in one of the manila pages.

Setup Instructions:
1) Setup MTPInstall.CAB to Main memory
2) Go to programs menu, run MTP Configurator.
3) Choose page to host plug-ins,
choose plug-ins you want to enable. Uncheck “TouchFLO 3D”.
4) Click apply button. Close configurator.
5) Go Settings-> Today Disable TouchFlo3D. Click OK. Enable TouchFlo3D. Click OK.
5) Run MTPLoader
6) Selected plug-ins should appear on selected tab.
