Here is the video for the application. Though its not available for download just yet. The developer promises to launch it in Jan as an open source software. Let the drooling begin.. S2U2 (Slide2Unlock2) is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don’t use your device. And it’s has a CallerID function (but some devices may not work, so please try it first); S2P control plugin; and volume control.

Command Switch of iLock2:
iLock2.exe accepts the following command switches:
-slide to start/invoke S2U2
-nomsg to not to show any message even it closes itself & S2U2
-refresh to reload the registry settings & restart S2U2
-reset to reset the unread counts of SMS, MMS, email & vmail

Volume Control shortcut
If you need to manually map a key to invoke the new Volume Control, extract the S2U2-VC.LNK & transfer it to your device’s \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\S2U2 (for Non-English device, it varies), then use any key mapping software (some devices have it come along) to map this S2U2-VC to your preferred key.

But it assumes S2U2 is installed at \Program Files\S2U2.

DiamondBeer2 is a fun application that utilize the accelerometer from the Touch Diamond / Touch Pro. Its kind of like the iBeer application from the iphone.

Usage:
Start the program and keep close to your mouth, you don’t want to spill the beer ! Next “drink” from your PDA.
Menu -> New Drink refills your glass/PDA.

Enhancements:
- Beer “label” on your glass.
- multiple types of drinks: “Duvel” is the default, and a root beer (non-alcoholic) for kids (shows how “skins” would work).
- Bubbles in the glass ( go always up)
- If you tilt your “glass” to far, the beer empties immediately. (careful, you might get wet)
- Icon in “programs” group is again not visible now

Well it looks like 3 didnt like to be the odd-one-out , the official 3 store blog has a poll where users can register their interest for the iphone

If u are already a 3 customer or a potential 3 customer head over to 3shopdirect.com.au and voice your opinion.

With Telstra jumping on to the iphone bandwagon , three out of four major Australian carrier are backing up the iphone. Three is the only major carrier who has not backed the iphone. Optus and Vodafone has not released any pricing info yet.

Telstra announced the iPhone 3G would cost $279 for the 8GB model or $399 for the 16GB model on a monthly $30 plan.

However the 8GB iPhone will be FREE on an $80 monthly plan & the 16GB model on a $100 monthly plan. All Telstra iPhone plans will include free wi-fi access at Telstra hotspots and will require a 24-month contract with the carrier.

So now the Pricing info is out will you get one ?

Lets face it the default Notes application in Windows Mobile looks ugly. This application tries to bring the looks of the notes application from the iphone.
