EyeEm is a new photo sharing & discovery app for Windows Phone that allows users to take pics and customize it with one of the 11 photo filters available via the app and upload it to multiple social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Foursquare & Tumblr. The app also uploads you pics to the EyeEm website and allows other EyeEm users to share and comment on your work. The app offers a beautiful interface and once you apply your filter you can add a tag and location ( which is automatically filled in by the GPS ) should you want to and upload the image. Other users can easily browse these tags and see all images uploaded to those tags. The app add a lot of social element to sharing pictures and offers an Instagram-esque service to Windows Phone users. To start using EyeEm, you have to signup with EyeEm I used my existing Facebook account with the app, now EyeEm will scan your contacts to see if any of them are already using the app if you you will have a chance to follow / connect with them.

We have seen many image editors for windows phone and one of the 1st one we ever reviewed was Pictures Labs a great app to have on any windows phone if you like to add that extra finishing touches or special effects to an image.
Here is some info on some of the new stuff
The free v2 update runs on NoDo and Mango devices and brings 3 new vintage / retro effects, an HDR effect and improved existing effects. There are now also 11 borders that can be applied to the photo on top of an effect. It works just like the effect selection with neat previews. The borders can be applied to any aspect ratio, unlike other apps. ;) Together with the almost 30 effects the app now allows more than 300 different combinations. An integrated Facebook photo upload functionality was also added and Twitter’s own, new image service as addition to the two existing services. Furthermore was the UX was improved, many tweaks were implemented and bugs were fixed.
