By now every would have heard about the slow nature of the TouchFLO 3D interface . It wasn’t as responsive as it was expected to be. HTC confirmed today that the European HTC Touch Diamond, which went on sale officially just recently, is running a much improved TouchFLO 3D version which is speedier, snappier and more responsive.
Now a days we have tons of themes and skins to make our devices look like the HTC Touch diamond , here is a good Media player Skin from poorlyduck from xda-dev.
Touch Diamond plays a full-screen video tutorial for you the first time you boot the device up. The video tutorial teaches you how to use the new TouchFLO 3D interface.
There’s no audio in the video, but it apparently looks great on the Touch Diamond’s 640×480 pixel screen as per the info from pocketnow.com
DigiTimes has it that HTC has already shipped its first batch of over 10,000 Touch Diamond mobiles to Hong Kong CSL, which has consequently sent our saliva glands into overdrive. The report continues on to say that deliveries to European / Asia-Pacific operators should get going in June, though no further details were mentioned.
Finally an Opera mobile 9 that works on the Pocket PC ( with out all messed up images ). Supposedly this version is a rip from the HTC Touch Diamond. It runs a bit faster too compared to the older Opera 9 .
Note :
* It seems to get installed in to phone memory regardless of where u choose to install it
* Need to reboot for it to work
* CAN be uninstalled
