If you have followed us for a while you might have heard about the pink smudge on the pics taken on the Windows Mobile HTC HD2 Camera, HTC eventually released a hot fix for the issue, now WPCentral is reporting that the new HTC HD7 suffers from a similar issue.
We have seen that the HTC trophy has its share of issues and now something comes like this comes up on the HD7. The 7 Mozart I had had issue with the volume when using the headphones but that was more of an isolated incident. Any one using the other devices like Samsung or LG seen some weird issues with your WP7 devices ?

To replace the battery half of the back of the case comes off. Very gently the other half of the back of the case will come off the same way. Next to the sim card slot there is a micro sd card slot, with the card in it. However to remove the card it looks like all the screws will have to come out and then the plastic cover removed as the slot is set in it. See picture.
If you take off the cover to access the battery you can see 8 of the 10 screws that have to be removed. The other 2 are under the smaller back cover. The sd card is in a normal sd card slot with a bit of tape over the end. take the card out like you would a card from any other phone (i.e. push down and it pops up). one of the screws has a void sticker on it.

Engadget is now reporting that the HD7 will have Dolby Mobile Sound, specifics of that feature is still a mystery. they also claim that the pricing for HD7 will be €559 (about $770) or €79 ($109) on a two-year contract. Check the video after the break ( be warned the quality ain’t that nice and does not show any specific HD7 features )

I admit that after HD2 my expectation was high for HD7 but with the specs reveled as
I felt it is mediocre at best, the screen size and camera sounds fine but 1GHz processor and 8GB storage ( which are the minimum requirement ) was hoping more from HD7 which I thought will be a super smart phone. I can make my peace with 8GB storage if we can add our own memory card but reports suggest that this is not likely. Now I kinda wish the HD3 is not the HD7 and the real HD7 will have some amazing specs. What do you guys think ?

German HTC HD7 release date
We are confident that Telstra will be offering the HTC HD7 and its also quite likely that the device will be exclusive to Telstra for a limited time. The price for the HTC HD7 in Australia is still anyone’s guess. BTW if you have a tip about it give us a shout.
