Did you know that on Windows Phone you can have your apps automatically reinstalled after a hard reset? I believe this is a very little known fact that have not been widely reported.
It just so happened that I’ve received a new Dell Venue Pro (DVP) Windows Phone today (Yay!!!! *pat on the back*) and started with setting it up with my existing Windows Live ID that I’ve been using on the Samsung Focus, and installed two apps while I was at it.

Plz note that all custom files, pictures, video , music, everything will be DELETED when you Hard Reset the device
Some Essential steps before you Begin :
Charge the device prior to performing the hard reset.
Backup any valuable files or information.

With Shutdown for Pocket PCs you can easy perform a soft restart of your device. The dialog style has the same appearance like the Microsoft Windows XP Shutdown dialog. You can have a Short cut icon in the taskbar for easy access.
The buttons are Cancel, Turn Off, and Restart. Selecting Turn off instantly sends your PocketPC into hibernation and clicking Restart performs a software reset.
